OPEN CALL

As in previous years, Unsound welcomes submissions from artists, musicians, writers, activists, academics, and other cultural practitioners through an open call. 

Unsound usually doesn’t have an open call for the music program, but with NOISE as the theme, we’re making an exception. You can send us ear-shredding work, sure, but we’re particularly interested in less literal, perhaps more playful interpretations of NOISE, somehow subverting the word. We also welcome submissions to the discourse programme and interventions – works that disrupt existing program formats. The more unexpected the better. Discourse program submissions can include proposals for lectures, panel discussions, presentations, workshops, reading groups and other formats. You can apply online here. 

Proposals can be submitted in English or in Polish, but bear in mind that the discourse program events will be conducted in English. The cut off date for the open call is April 30th. 

We will follow up with selected projects after the deadline, as well as notify anyone whose submission was not successful. All selected projects will be paid for, depending on the scale, level of development, type of submission etc., to be discussed with participants individually. Note also we may contact you to ask for information about a proposal.
