Fuck Buttons is a duo made up of Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power that over the past year has shot to prominence, with glowing reviews for their first album Street Horrrsing, and support tours for bands such as Mogwai and Caribou. Their music harnesses the power of noise to immerse and evoke, but also fuses it with unexpected rhythm and melody. Distorted vocals complete the drone scapes and tribal beats, and create a truly unique sound that manages to retain its experimental roots whilst finding wider appeal. The electric live shows demonstrate their desire to reach and take the audience to transcendental states. Pitchfork media described their music as "something like the sun rising over the ocean… then going supernova"; New-Noise wrote "rarely have two men sounded so much like the end of the world."
