Is it 1970 or 2011? These questions and others will be asked in an evermore frenzied manner as we move into the Unsound long weekend, packed with music, screenings and an extensive discussion program.
There's too much to stuff into this one news post, but a reminder to check out our website and program in detail, so as not to miss any of the interesting bits and pieces. Obviously seeing everything would require getting almost zero sleep, but perhaps it's worth it?
Tonight you can experience Deaf Center performing in the beautiful St Katherine's church, followed by Re:ECM with Ricardo Vilallobos, Max Loderbauer and Christian Wallumrod. To say we're excited by this show is a severe understatement. Tickets are still available at the Unsound Festival Office, and if any remain you can also buy them at the venue.
Doors open at 6.30pm, the show starts at 7.15pm.
Following in Manggha, "The Experience Makers" will feature Sun Araw, Hype Williams, Laurel Halo, Holy Other and Rustie.
You can also check out a wonderful video made by ZF Films, present at Unsound 2011 and capturing the entire festival in their superbly idiosyncratic style. Watch it now.
And see you at the festival.
