The influential online electronic music magazine Resident Advisor has ranked Krakow’s Unsound the second best festival in the world in October, a month with a packed cultural calendar.
This is the best position ever achieved by a Polish festival.
Coming just behind the massive “Amsterdam Dance Event”, the site wrote: “Poland continues to stake its claim for a place among Europe's premier festival destinations, and perhaps the most intriguing of the nation's offerings is the seven day Unsound Festival…”
Unsound was selected not only for its club nights and concerts, but also the mix of accompanying workshops, panel discussions and installations.
The high regard Resident Advisor has for Unsound is underlined by the fact they are co-presenting “Bass Mutations” on 24.10.2009, with 2562, Untold, Zomby and Pavel Ambiont.
