Tianzhuo Chen (aka ASIANDOPEBOYS) and Siko Setyanto present Moyang 先祖& Seaman 漁師

'Mpyang & Seaman' is a new presentation from Tianzhuo Chen, developed in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Siko Setyanto. The piece evolved from 2024's 'Ocean Cage', focusing on the two core characters: Moyang (ancestor) and Seaman (fisherman). Inspired by Japanese Nō theater, one of the world's oldest surviving classical traditions, the show tells ancient stories with modern techniques, adding music from Indonesian artists Kadapat and Nova Ruth.
