Vigro Deep wasn't sure about dance music at first. As a kid he wanted to be a rapper - deep house was something his dad, legendary producer DJ Spring, was more invested in. But once he started making his own tracks, he realized that dance music coursed through his veins. Almost a decade later, Vigro Deep is one of South Africa's most important DJs and producers, an amapiano pioneer who's not afraid to paint outside the lines. He appears at Unsound 2026 alongside Bristol's Batu, a forward-thinking producer and respected DJ who was last spotted working with Donato Dozzy on the acclaimed 'Exhale'. As the boss of the Timedance imprint, Batu has helped shape the British bass underground's cerebral fringe.
