Kara-Lis Coverdale & Sinfonietta Cracovia

Canadian composer and producer Kara-Lis Coverdale grew up playing organ in churches across Canada and since 2014's 'A 480' has been figuring out new ways to integrate sacred music with experimental soundscapes. She's worked with Floating Points, Tim Hecker and Actress, among others, and this year released two solo albums on the esteemed Smalltown Supersound label: the fantastical, postmodern hallucination 'From Where You Came' and the delicate solo piano suite 'A Series of Actions in a Sphere of Forever'. At Unsound Kraków 2025, Coverdale will perform cues from 'A Series of Actions in a Sphere of Forever' and team up with Sinfonietta Cracovia to re-imagine some of her expansive orchestral compositions.
