Returning to ZULI and Rama's irsh imprint this year with the EP 'Nested Skins', Berlin-based Alexandrian producer ltfll (pronounced "latefall") examines the complex rhythms of the Arabian peninsula, studying their nuances and applying the microscopic syncopations to his time-dilating dancefloor deviations. Not techno or bass music, exactly, it's kinetic experimental club gear that's assembled with an engineer's ear for psychoacoustic phenomena, with its seismic bass thuds rupturing the expertly tweaked percussive flurries.
