Working with an arsenal of prepared instruments, like a modified drum kit, his little sister's harp and a broken accordion he played as a child, producer and composer Tymek Papior augments his unique acoustic soundscapes with restrained synthesizer sounds and lysergic processes. And this approach is best heard on his debut solo album 'Rugs/Carpets', a set of curious, Squarepusher-inspired impossible rhythms and mysterious, microtonally-tuned wails.
