Zdzisław Piernik is a legend of Polish avant-garde music. He started out as a jazz musician in the early 1970s, only to slowly expand the vocabulary of tuba and move towards improvisation, contemporary music and experiments with prepared instruments. His ongoing musical curiosity has led him to work with HATI, a duo experienced in improv and recycling objects as instruments who try to find new sounds between the mundane and ritual. Together, they will play an adventurous Morning Glory session, right after the release of their collaborative album.
