Cities Aviv

An early exponent of the hugely influential cloud rap scene, Memphis-born rapper and producer Wilbert Gavin Mays, aka Cities Aviv, has proved in the years since he released his solo debut 'Digital Lows' in 2011 that his reach defies categorization. He started out as the lead singer of a hardcore punk band, has released countless noise and ambient projects and most recently decamped to Oren Ambarchi's Black Truffle imprint to deploy his most experimental album to date: 'Even Colder Spring'.
