Space Afrika – Expanded Set

If the acclaimed 'Honest Labour' examined the inclement Northern backdrop of Space Afrika's genesis, this year's 'Quiet Storm' looks outward, at class and identity in the further diaspora. Now based in Berlin and Manchester, the duo of Joshua Tarelle Reid and Joshua Inyang consider the legacy of Black artistry, welcoming cellists, violinists, guitarists, drummers and singers to harmonize with their genre-free experiments. For their special Unsound show, Space Africa will appear alongside prize-winning Polish vocalist Jolanta Kowalska-Pawlikowska.
