It’s become a tradition that Polish dancefloor legend VTSS descends on Unsound most years for a special appearance, and the 2026 edition is no different. This time, the DJ, producer, singer and songwriter returns to her hometown for a night bringing together Polish talent and some of the world’s most vital pioneers. Paris-based Finnish producer and selector Emma dj, who’s released on cult imprints like YOUTH, UIQ and L.I.E.S., shares the decks with veteran producer Low Jack, a club futurist who’s worked alongside French rapper Lala &Ce and is equally at home exploring highly experimental forms.
And if we’re talking about versatility, is there really anyone more adventurous behind the decks than Ashland Mines, the artist better known as Bobby Beethoven – or Total Freedom? An architect of the sound that became known as “deconstructed club”, Mines brings artistry, energy and genuine adventure to his sets: spaces where rap, heavy metal, ballroom, extreme noise and punk sounds are folded into an Escher-like illusion. Co-founder of the ZEJŚCIE label and the Narocz13, Some Guest represents Warsaw’s burgeoning bass underground, releasing genre-busting productions on labels like Low Income $quad and Angels Gun Club, and keeping an ear open for dynamic, dancefloor-friendly experimentation. Opening the night, Berlin-based Portuguese artist Blastah, who’s released on Mixpak, Worldwide Unlimited and Golden Mist, meets Julia Szemplińska aka jul.ci for a premiere b2b set.
