Since 2007 Unsound has been involved in the creation and development of an open source library of mobile phone ring tones. Unsound continues to curate toneshared, where artists such as Alva Noto, Burnt Friedmann, Atom Heart, Caribou, Telephone Tel Aviv, Pan American and many others have created innovative, experimental, ambient and noisy ringtones available for free.
