Milkweed

Based in the UK, Milkweed spy the landscape that surrounds them looking for lost artistic Ley lines, examining how myth and music intertwine and how the folk music from the British Isles and the eastern United States has evolved in parallel. Using broken tape players, repurposed string instruments and malfunctioning FX, they reach into the past to suggest a very different future, subverting and preserving folklore simultaneously.
