Laetitia Sadier

Laetitia Sadier is a French musician best known as a member of Stereolab, which she formed in 1990 with Tim Gane. Her distinct vocals have become part of the band's trademark sound, though she also plays keyboard, percussion, guitar and trombone. With Stereolab on hiatus, Laetitia is starting a solo career, with an album entitled "The Trip" to be released at the end of September on Drag City. It will feature compositions by Sadier, along with covers, including Les Rita Mitsouko’s dance-funk-punk track "Un Soir Un Chien", used in Jean-Luc Godard’s 1987 film "Soigne Ta Droite". In the past, Sadier has also contributed to work by bands such as Blur, Mouse on Mars and Mice Parade, with whom she'll appear at Unsound.
