Monno is a Swiss / Canadian band centred around members Antoine Chessex and Gilles Aubry. Their uncompromising sound draws on noise, doom metal and experimental music to create a uniquely punishing whole performed on tenor sax with guitar amps, drums, bass and electronics. As Global Domination wrote of their last album "Ghosts": "Their music... is a deconstruction of what even the sickest doom is supposed to be.
