Lancashire-born Sam Shackleton remains one of the most important and enigmatic figures of the contemporary bass music scene, reaching far beyond its limits into true experimentation. Co-founder of Skull Disco (together with Appleblim) and creator of a singular voice made up basslines interwoven with hypnotic, complex melodies, Shackleton was already our guest in the past. We’re very pleased to have him again, especially in the wake of 2012’s “Woe To The Septic Heart”, one of the year’s best releases.
