One of the leading acts of UK Blackest Ever Black label, Raime revive the haunting coldness of British industrial and post punk scenes of the 1980s, yet blend it with entirely of-the-moment, post-dubstep rhythmic directions. Their releases have sparked comparisons to Coil, Pan Sonic, Shackleton and Prurient and been described with phrases such as "dread minimalism." Raime made the debut live show at Unsound 2010, followed with an installation created with Pussykrew in 2011; with a debut album coming out on BEB right around the time of this year’s festival, we couldn’t resist inviting them yet again, especially considering the way their music intersects with this year’s theme The End.
